Pat Takes the Bait!

Dear Patrick Poole,

First of all I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the bait and giving me my much wanted publicity on your illustrious blog. I am so gratified you have nothing better to do than launch an extensive investigation of my personal life. I'm disappointed that you failed to mention the two times I was wanted for questioning--first by the CIA, then by the FBI. Find out when those incidents happened, what they wanted and the result, and I'll be totally impressed!!

However, you might want to wipe off those bifocals and give my posting another read. I didn't accuse of you MAKING the videos about killing Muslims and bombing Iraq & Afghanistan (your creativity is reserved only for fabrications). You did put the videos in your "favorites," which means you sit there watching them over and over again in typical keyboard warrior fashion, most likely playing air guitar and clogging your mouse up with potato chip crumbs and soda.

On October 28, 2000, I was in Tipp City, Ohio and it was the first day of my 7-day hunger strike to draw attention to Palestinian suffering. That can be proven, as an article was published in Dayton's Impact Weekly about it. Any more false statements you want to make about me? Please, go ahead, Pat. Mr. El-Yousseph's impending litigation against you can easily turn in to a class action.

More importantly, "we" didn't name my son Ali Jihad. I, and I alone, chose the name. Actually I chose the name Jihad. The in-laws wanted to stick Ali on there to "soften it up a bit"--they were afraid he would run into idiots like Patrick Poole upon returning to America. For your information, Mr. Linguistic Expert, "Jihad" in Arabic means "struggle." A more than appropriate name, considering all the injustice we faced at the hands of the American Embassy.

Furthermore, the demonstration in Amman occured when my son was over 4 months old. That's much more than "a few weeks" (more fuzzy math from a neo-con--shocker).

My brother-in-law, Ahmad was released from Jordanian intelligence 2 days after his incarceration, proof he was not involved in any type of insurgent activity. (FYI, the Jordanian intelligence is much more efficient than the CIA or the FBI.) He was involved in humanitarian work, caring for civilian victims of American bombings, and we are all very proud of him.

At least you saved the biggest laugh for last. If Tom Blumer thinks "getting me fired" from the Advocate is his claim to fame, he knows quite well I was already living in sunny South Gate, California by the time he contacted my former editor. AND comfortably writing for The Independent Monitor, a PRINT newspaper located in Anaheim. Besides, my columns appeared all over southwestern Ohio, else Blumer in Mason would have never stumbled onto my Arabic-sounding name (the true source of his obsession with me). If you have any more accusations to this nature, Daily Advocate Managing Editor Bob Robinson will be happy to dispel any rumors and will verify that I departed voluntarily for bigger and better things. In fact, he even alluded to it himself in one of his Friday columns. But like I said, Pat....we can go class action if you want.

Sincerely,Tammy Obeidallah

P.S. I would strongly suggest keeping my kids out of this from now on.

Prozac Pat

Patrick Poole strikes again with more inane dithering, this time he even resorts to stealing my insults. "Hate blogger" and "keyboard warrior" are all yours, patty-cake. They fit you quite well.

Pat has evidently been watching every Arab & Muslim list serve for the past 10 years or so, and has kept a record of all my e-mails dating back to the year 2000. Pssst...Pat! Your life is PATHETIC!!!

He claims an e-mail where I was attempting to arrange a car pool to go to Washington, D.C. is proof that I was actually at a rally on Oct. 28, 2000 when several Wright State University professors and students will state otherwise. AND Impact Weekly, which you claimed was a jihadist publication. (I never knew of any jihadist publication that so openly supported gay rights...hmmm...) By the way Pat, I happened to be at the rally on April 21, 2002 where I lobbied congressmen on behalf of AMERICAN MUSLIMS for JERUSALEM. Tsk, tsk...you didn't do your homework. I'm so disappointed.

And a program I made with a UD professor about my trip to Palestine airing on local cable access channels in Dayton, OH and Detroit, MI throughout December 2001 tells all about my encounter with the CIA. Assignment failed, Pat!!

The November issue of The Independent Monitor will be of more interest to you; it details my most recent encounter with the FBI. The Independent Monitor is distributed throughout Southern California...and Pat--anytime you're working for ANY print media in California, it's better than Ohio. Besides, I have a day job. And you? When was the last time you were actually published in anything other than your own hate blog? Or cross-posted on your butt buddy Tom Blumers BIZ blog. (Biz is Arabic for boob, so appropriate!)

Speaking of keyboard warriors...I'm going to be in Ohio for Christmas. Any chance on getting together for coffee, or are you too chicken shit? I'd even let you bring along your laptop so you could still hide behind your keyboard.
